If you are not well enough to come to the surgery and a Home Visit is necessary, please telephone the surgery as early as possible. Please remember that home visits are for those patients that are housebound, or too ill to come to the surgery. Please remember that a home visit takes four times as long as seeing you in the surgery, where the doctor has access to more facilities.
If you are uncertain whether a home visit is necessary, you will be asked to speak to the Doctor who will find out how urgent it is.
